PROTAC® THREAD LOCKERS
Protac® thread-locking adhesives are one-component products which require neither dosing nor mixing. When used on threaded metals they fill the gap between the mating threads which locks and seals the assembly. Novachem offers various viscosities and strengths which have been formulated for the normal range and various dimensions of standard fasteners. Breakloose torque differs according to the product grade, and normal service temperatures are between -55°C and +150°C. High temperature products are available as standard, and the range includes removable and wicking grades. Protac® threadlocker adhesives meet military specification standards.
Protac® threadlockers are resistant to heat, vibration, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons and many chemicals. Their main features are:
